About The Decent Things

The Decent Things was a concept that my business partner has had for many years. As a young woman and having attended numerous weddings over the last few years she had more knowledge about what a Bride is looking for to make her day special and unique. I have spent much of my career working in the gift industry and this time has given me a precious insight into the wide variety of products available to enhance a couples wedding day.

It never ceases to amaze me how much time, effort (not to mention expense!!) the couple and their families put in to making their day truly memorable.

For me, it is the finishing touches that say so much about an occasion. I am also aware that the finishing touches are just that, and that every bride has a hundred and one things to think about before they consider the colour of their table confetti or what colour wax to use to seal their invitations!

The Decent Things was therefore designed as somewhere brides, grooms and their families can turn to find those “something special” items that further enhance their wedding day and make it unique o them. Some of these items may already be on the list of things to buy, others may be appearing elusive to find and others may not of even being thought of but upon seeing may finish the decoration perfectly.

We have tried to offer items that we consider are great quality and in many cases something different, after all it is your wedding and we want to help you and your family and friends to be enchanted with all aspects of the entire day.
